An Open Invitation to the @BournemouthEcho

Posted by: Scott Lovegrove   in Comedy, Gigs, Reviews

This could be an interesting post for me (or very likely not), but I shall push on with it anyway. This post is basically an open offer/invitation to the @BournemouthEcho to use me, and no, not in that way (well…no, definitely no). Anyone who knows me, knows that I love my comedy, to the point of doing a spot of it myself, and when I’m not performing, I’m constantly going to gigs. Over the next 8-10 months I will be going to a number of gigs around the Dorset area (although specifically, Poole, Bournemouth and Wimborne) and would love to contribute reviews to the Echo for these gigs.

I have written a couple of reviews before, for Frankie Boyle and Dara O’Briain when they both visited Bournemouth, both of which can be viewed below. So what gigs will I be going to? Well, see for yourself:

Jimmy Carr 13th August 2010 BIC
Stewart Francis 28th October 2010 Pavilion
Chris Addison 4th November 2010 Tivoli
John Bishop 9th November 2010 Pavilion
Sean Lock 12th November 2010 Lighthouse
Rich Hall 24th November 2010 Tivoli
Stephen K Amos 5th February 2011 Pavilion
Mark Watson 10th February 2011 Pavilion
Jason Manford 18th March 2011 BIC

So there we are, that is the [current] list of gigs I’m already scheduled to go to.

I’m not expecting any kind of payment for this, it is, as mentioned, an open invitation to use me for being at the gigs in the first place. I will still be writing the reviews and publishing them on my blog, but if they can be used by the Echo, then that would be great, too.

Let me know.

Sending obviously any good simple “I thank you dad” message
inside a bottle can make an impact. With however,
additionally it is important to remember which everybody should have some say
in the party details. You can find tons of them for
a very low price as well.
